Verdun quattier
Welcome to my neighbourhood Verdun neighbourhood of the city of Montreal. Verdun is one of Montreal's typical middle-class neighbourhoods. The most beautiful, and cheap neighbourhood. Verdun is of an older neighbourhood. It used to be a city in his like Laval but in the year 200 became Montreal. In 2002, the municipal reorganization of Montreal saw the city of Verdun become a borough of Montreal.
Verdun metro
On September 3, 1978,It opened Verdun metro station as part of the extension of the Green Line westward to Angrignon station. Now it has metro in the rue Verdun that has one rue and metro more most frequent in the city. Verdun metro is operated by the Société de Transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Green Line.
Parc du souvenir
Just outside of the metro you Parc du Souvenir in the English remembrance park or in the Spanish Parque del recuerdo because in this park there is a statue to remember the people who die in this area in the war against Korea the communist with there names.
Centre Islamique de Verdun
The Islamic Center of Verdun (MAC) brings together the faithful of the community to practice their faith, and spirituality, learn and share. The center opens its doors for daily prayers, Friday sermons, classes, religious reminders and lectures in Arabic and French.
Verdun Borough Hall
Verdun’s borough hall or Hotel de Ville or Mairie d'arrondissement de Verdun or city hall is home to the council chambers, where the borough’s elected officials gather for council meetings. It is the mayor's office of Verdun who is, Marie-Andrée Mauger 2013 has represented the population of Verdun in the Desmarchais-Crawford district as borough councillors. She is part of the party ''Projet Montréal - Équipe Valérie Plante''
De l'Église Metro
Metro de l'église is for this name because the rue of Eglise has this name because has the two main churches of Verdun the Eglise Notre-dame-des-sept-douleurs & Church of the Epiphany. De l'Eglise is a station on the Green line of the Montreal Metro. It is located on rue de l'Eglise in the borough of Verdun in Montreal, province of Quebec in Canada.L'église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs is a Catholic church in the Canadian city of Montréal, located in the Verdun arrondissement, au coin des rues Wellington et de l'Église.
Hôpital de Verdun
Hôpital de Verdun (English: Verdun General Hospital) is a hospital of Canada. It is located at 4000 LaSalle Boulevard. The hospital was designed by Alphonse Vennie in an art-deco style,[1] built between 1930 and 1931 and then opened in 1932, it now employs 1,600 people.
Gallery Jano Lapin & Studios
The Jano Lapin Gallery is art gallery. Galerie Jano Lapin opened its doors in the Verdun district in January 2021. Its mandate is to support the artistic community and democratize the visual arts by presenting to the public works by Quebec artists in contemporary art.
Maison Nivard-De-Saint-Dizier
The Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier includes a museum and an archaeological site. Its foundations rest on the largest prehistoric archaeological site on the island of Montreal, whose Aboriginal occupation dates back more than 5,500 years.
